Career counselors advise students on career planning and job opportunities.They organize workshops on resume writing, job interviewing techniques and other relevant issues. Career counselors expose qualified WIUU students to their potential future employers and form links between the University and business community.

Internship at WIUU


Business internship was created at the Ukrainian-American Institute (WIUU) in 2000 as a step toward reaching the goals of becoming the leading educational establishment in research and education.
The main purpose of internship is providing students with practical experience in business according to international standards and with attention paid to Ukrainian specificity.
Membership in the American Chamber of Commerce, Kyiv Trade and Industrial Center, and Ukrainian Trade and Industrial Center has helped us find companies to cooperate with. Our students obtain important business experience in the companies which are members of these organizations. Internship opportunities are versatile and flexible.

The whole internship I usually divided into sections based on a student’s professional knowledge: novice, professional, graduating. This means that WIUU students can start taking their internship even during their freshman year. The following companies are especially desired internship places for our students:
