Many thanks to Dmytro Nadtochiy – our graduate – for his warm words!

Hello Yulia Yurievna,

I sincerely hope that this message finds you well. As you probably know, I am currently working for my MBA degree at University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and I must admit that my studies at WIUU were very instrumental in all aspects of my MBA endeavor. Most of the core curriculum classes at Ross, including microeconomics, statistics, accounting, and finance were very similar to the ones I worked through at WIUU. Moreover, while at Ross I had no problems adapting to the requirements of American Professors and overall classroom experience, so I could hit the ground running.
One of the exciting opportunities offered by the top MBA programs in the U.S. is recruiting with top multinational corporations. All year round these companies come on campus to deliver presentations, engage students in case competitions, and finally interview them for internship or full-time positions. I was lucky to spend my internship summer at Google, European Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
My internship project was to identify opportunities for growth in online advertising of small- and medium businesses in emerging economies of Eastern Europe. I was very excited that my final presentation received favorable feedback from the leadership of the business unit, and some of the ideas that I presented were implemented for emerging markets across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Second year of the MBA program is very different. It is time to deepen own expertise in selected field by taking rigorous elective classes, and being more actively engaged in the student life on campus. My personal ‘giving back to Ross’ plan includes helping first-year MBAs with resumes, cover letters and mock interviews as one of the Peer Counselors. These guys helped me to land at Google last year, and now I am excited to pass my knowledge to the future generations of MBAs.
Looking back, I can hardly imagine myself at this point without WIUU. I am very thankful to the you and Mr. Romanovskiy, as well as to the faculty and everyone at the University who contributed to my personal and professional growth.
I wish you and WIUU all the success!
Warm regards,
Dmytro Nadtochii
